Well, a whole helluva lot has happened since I last posted. I am now a father and am dealing not only with re-entry into society from incarceration, but also enjoying a newborn son. I am not at all used to this stuff. There has been a lot happening in life in general, and getting used to it all has been an adjustment. I am still not de-institutionalized, and have had some real issues with my self- acceptance and acknowledgement of the root of the problem. Still- five years clean and sober have proven to be well worth my while, considering all the good that has happened in my life to date since my release from prison. Wow. Life is a true miracle. The boy is testament to that.
Still a little bit overwhelmed.
